We have heard wonderful things about the new Mackey Super Cubs which are supplied to the homebuilder in kit form. These great and wonderful kits are apparently also supplied as almost complete kits for homebuilders and possibly as kits for Light Sport Aircraft as well. Hopefully they will meet the new requirements for that rule as well. The Mackey Super Cubs Kit supposedly contains everything needed to build you very own Mackey - S-Q-2 with some engine options hopefully going up to at least 185 HP models.
We have heard that some of the Mackey Super Cub Kits can also be special ordered with all of the options needed for fast build kits as well. Including Fuselage, and wings too. And apparently everything gets the OK from the FAA too. If they can have you up and flying your very own Mackey Super Cub in record time, then this would certainly be an extra special bonus. If anyone out there knows any more about the Mackey super cubs kit , then please don't wait to give us a phone call and tell us more about the Mackey super cubs in kit form. We have heard that in slow flight the Mackey SQ2 is far superior to almost any other super cub kits on the market today. It flies much slower and of course landings and takeoffs are extremely short.
Will the Mackey Super Cubs Kit be available with Floats and float fittings? What about an epoxy coated fuselage?
We assume that the Mackey Super Cubs Kit will also be available on skis as well for those of you who need to operate in snowy conditions.
The Ideal panel for a Mackey Super Cubs Kit would accept a wide selection of avionics and popular navigation gear options. What would your special panel look like?
